A weekend in Solvang Ca,

I live in Solvang Ca, a small town on the central coast, 40 minutes from Santa Barbara Ca. Where tourist's enjoy Wine tasting, food, Danishes and walks around town to name a few. I will give you below the top 10 things to do in or around Solvang Ca for those who haven't been or on your next trip to visit. Hope you enjoy your stay and have such a great time in this hidden gem.

1. Embrace Danish culture by taking a stroll on Copenhagen drive and Mission drive in downtown Solvang. Cute architecture all around and some say it feels like  your visiting Disneyland!

2. Taste the Best of Santa Barbara Wine Country. Vineyards and wineries await in all of Santa Ynez valley which includes Solvang, Los Olivos, Santa Ynez, Buellton, Ballard and Los Alamos.

3. Venture into Ostrich Land, U.S.A. which is in Buellton Ca. Also visited by celebrities on their way into town. Don't forget to take a selfie!

4. Get Your Fill of Danish Pastries, Some bakeries include donuts and other delicious deserts. Take some back to your room and indulge in the flavors!

5. Take the Short Hike to Nojoqui Falls. The back country road is so scenic but you can also get there from the 101 freeway.  A picnic is also a great idea. So peaceful there.

6.Make Solvang Your Home for the Holidays. After thanksgiving weekend all through the first week of January. Solvang looks extra festive but my favorite has to be the first week of December with a whole itinerary Solvang has scheduled every year.

7. Explore California's History-Recognized for its authentic culture and cozy vibe, Solvang is often labeled one of the best historic small towns in the U.S.A. One reason for this distinction is the charming Old Mission Santa Inés, one of the original 21 missions established by Spanish priests starting in 1769. The mission remains among the oldest surviving structures in the state, and the adobe construction and delicate artwork require constant maintenance. Museum admission and gift shop sales help with the cost, so consider paying the modest fee for a self-guided or docent-led tour.

8. Drive 15 minutes to the Gaviota coast. Less than 10 minutes if your staying in Buellton Ca for a beach day or take a hike among Gaviota wind caves trial.

9.Moke experience- Cruise in style to your favorite jams while driving these fun cars around town.

10. Solvang Festival theater (Newly renovated, old picture below)

Each production is of high quality, dating all the way back to its first ever production of Once Upon A Mattress.

Concerts, theater shows, and performances of all kinds have lit up this Festival Theater, both during the day and at night.
